Gamla godingar från Cessie

Kom på att jag alltid får leta upp de här recepten på mailen, så nu åker de in här!

Artichoke Dip
2 14 oz cans artichoke hearts  (= 4,2 dl)
1 cup sour cream (= 2,4 dl)
1 cup mayonnaise (= 2,4 dl)
1 cup grated parmesan cheese (= 2,4 dl)
2/3 cup shredded crab meat or imitation crab flakes  (= 1,5 dl)

Drain & chop artichoke hearts. Stir in rest of ingredients. Transfer
to baking dish. Bake uncovered 350 degree F (= 175 grader C) oven for
25-30 min. Optional - top with parmesan shards while still hot. This
is your basic recipe, you can add more crabs or more cheese. Just make
sure you adjust the sour cream/mayo mix to balance moisture.

Chocolate chip cookies
1 cup butter, softened (= 2,4 dl)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (= 1,2 dl)
1 1/2 cups brown sugar (= 3,5 dl)
2 eggs
2 1/2 tsps vanilla (= 3 tsk)
2 1/2 cups flour (= 6 dl)
3/4 tsp salt (= 3/4 tsk)
1 tsp baking powder (= 1 tsk)
1 tsp baking soda (= 1 tsk)
1 1/2 pkg (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips  (Jag använde 1,5
200g-paket mörk blockchoklad, hackad)

Cream together butter, sugars, eggs, vanilla in large mixing bowl.

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda in separate bowl.
Add dry ingredients to butter mixture, mixing well. Stir in chocolate chips.
With fingers form dough into golf ball sized portions and arrange 2
inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees F until edges of cookies are light brown, about 9 minutes..
Remove from baking sheets to wire racks after slightly cooled. Makes
30 cookies.

Note: it's impt. that you not exceed cooking time even if cookies
appear to be underbaked. When cookies are removed from oven, the sugar
in them will stay hot and continue the cooking process. The finished
product s/b soft in the middle and crunchy around the edges.

For variations: you can substitute semi-sweet chips with milk choc
chips or dark choc chips. You can also add
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts before baking. Do not substitute margarine
for butter, you will not have good results.
